Sorry youre wrong its about the killing off of the native populace. They used blankets infected with germs in a way to spread smallpox and others. I understand exactly what the song is about. And I understand all the meaning and metaphors in the video. That doesn't mean they work or are good. It would be a great film project for somebody in school. Or great for a local band.

What a beautiful song with a great massage

Great song. A lot of the video ideas just do not work. The stomping looks ridiculous. The slow-motion of Sarah is a fail attempt at looking badass. Even Thile looks silly through a lot of this video. I blame the director. Good ideas with bad followthrough. At least the tune is amazing.
